Some of you may Romberg my post on landy leaning to drivers side after fitting new springs front and rear loaded and correctly fitted by garage.
Landy still leaning to drivers side replaced rear springs with yet another new set and same procedure Still leaning to drivers side - spitting sawdust and grinding of teeth.
Any last ideas guys before I disassemble vehicle and sell for spares!!!!!!

Coo a bit of patience me thinks...my Landy's done far worse things.

What have you tried to correct it? Just slacking off all the shackles and having a good ride over some rough ground, then retightening can help...unless the shackle bolts are rusted solid.

How bad is it...photo?

Springs are handed for driver and passenger sides, drivers side is slightly stiffer/higher to take into account driver, full fuel tank, battery etc. You haven't by any chance had 2 drivers side ones fitted?
Cheers

This guys spring are British made from paddocks with new U bolts spring bolts and fitted by land rover garage and loaded with shackle bolts slackened then tightened. I did as was suggest loosen springs and drive over bumpy ground as well but no luck. At a complete loss now really don't know what else to do next.:(:(

All I can suggest is to measure the hole centres for the spring mounts then check the dimensions are correct against a chassis diagram, as jamesmartin points out, it could be an incorrectly placed mount from previous work.

Guys absolutely right only thing to do now is get the measure tape out to see if British Army done something different (it is ex forces) any idea where I can get chassis diagram with measurements please.
Thanks for all input sorry I am so frustrated on this issue. Martin

My recently acquired Series III has parabolics and a bit of a lean towards the driver's side. Are parabolics handed too as it struck me that they might be fitted the wrong way round? (I haven't got underneath to check manufacturer or numbers yet)

Different tyres can be surprisingly different in diameter, I had 2 tyres that were the same spec size wise but one was about 2 inches larger in diameter. You could only see it when they were off the vehicle, that caused a lean on mine.

Just as a thought it might be worth parking it on the level and sighting the angle between the axle and the rear crossmember from the rear. This would settle any issues with tyre size imbalance or anything and give you a clean view of the issue.

If it's been mucked about by squaddies I'd definitely be under there sighting the mounting holes - also check the shackle length and make sure they're the same (military shackles are a different length).
