Why is it when you spend some cash sorting stuff on a Landrover it breaks somewhere else? I think they do it on purpose! I've just had a new steering box fitted, a new diff seal, a new aerial, a full service and new wiper blades in the past 3 weeks and just 1 mile of driving after the steering box was fitted there's a grinding noise from the n/s/f wheel area so that's my saturday gone trying to sort that now GRRRR

I blamed the landy when I should have been blaming the council because they had resurfaced a road with a bit of tar and gravel because they are too tight to repair the roads properly so a tiny stone had got lodged I between the brake disk and backing plate. At least it didn't cost anything to fix :D

Land Rovers, you either have to have deep pockets, or be willing to get your hands dirty :D

As Tubes says, I prefer to think that when you fix something, you learn how it all goes together, give it a few years and modern cars will not be able to be worked on without a USB stick and Laptop

I've got a mk1 golf gti hatchback, a mk1 golf cabrio and a mk1 golf (caddy) pickup then there's an 04 polo of the mrs's and the 53 landy 110 which are a bit newer
