I knew it! Those bloody planks in Halfords said there was no harness to fit a new stereo into a 1989 RRC. "Should go straight in mate"! "Computer says no"!
Knew I wasn't going mad. Too bloody late now, cut and spliced all wires individually, with very helpful advice on what each one did from the very helpful blokes on this forum!
