I know its been asked before and I cant find it for the life of me. My problem is I know my immobiliser is starting to play up but when I drive along and my hazards start flashing is that the alarm I take it but if I do the bypass will that stop my hazards flashing when they like whilst driving.

Thats what I was thinking so only option is to source another sensor module from somewhere I guess or is there another way around it temporarily.

Nope, is all part of your security ECU for immobiliser, alarm and central locking.
If the ECU is not fitted correctly and is detached and is floating around as it were that will course the sensor to operate.
Although as with any electronics it can on its own become over sensitive, if so then the ECU require replacing.

Or keep away from bumps when driving :)

Can I just get another ecu from a breaker etc and how do I go about it working on mine or can I just plug it into my truck longs it has its own fobs and it will work? When it comes to electrics im not good lol

Yes just replace the unit, but if you have a 'two button' system u will need the matched fob/s to go with the replacement unit.
For a single button system u can use the existing fob as long as it uses the same frequency as the replacement unit

It only had a new battery about 2months ago so should be ok. Did your hazards start flashing whole driving and occasionaly wouldnt crank over on the starter.

Does anybody know why the red alarm dash light would flash rapidly? Its been ok since yesturday morning but just curious what the light meant as I cnat find anything on search engine. Thanks
