Blocking EGR without removing it

The manifold blank doesnt need to be retapped, can just be nut and bolted, saves time and effort!

That's exactly what I did when the bolts rounded on mine. Took a few minutes, no master technicians required.

So I can get a bolt behind it can I? I didn't think the bolt went all the way through the flange....I'll take a look at it tomorrow hopefully.

In the meanwhile I've put a 2 Hong Kong Dollar piece and exhaust putty'd it in place. Seems like it might work?

I agree with the earlier message about improving my own skills and experience and I will look into that because I do want to learn. But that isn't going to happen before I need to do a 500 mile rotund trip with the kids in a a few days time.

Might be worth keeping it looking original as you never know what future mot shennagins are in the works, so gut it/n
blank it inside but keep it looking as its should.
