The block on my 1995 3.9 efi disco has cracked so I;m after a new engine. I have my eye on a '94 3.9 efi engine out of a Range. Has anyone out there done this change before? Any lessons learned would be great. All the pulleys are in place on the new engine but I'm going to have to take alternator, starter, air con compressor etc etc off the original engine and fit to the new. Any issues with this? Cheers.

Oh and could I put the so called 4 litre engine in from a P38?

ive got just the thing, read my previous posts :D:D

think it would depend largely on what i could fetch for the engine as to whether i break it or not, its done 100,000 and its sweet as a nut its got an lpg system on it... what sort of money can these engines sell for?
