Bleedin' Bolt

Hi All,

I've got an oil leak (one of many) on my series 3 swb thats getting into the clutch and its gonna be a while before its sorted and i don't want to have to keep bleeding the clutch.

Should the drain bolt in the clutch be returned once any oil has been bled or can it be safely left out? Is leaving it off gonna cause me problems?

you should leave it out at all times unless yer going wading

Due to the Heap's insatiable appetite for fossil fuels and its various leaks (not to mention needing new springs and shocks and one million other things), i now only have rubber cheques !!!

I'm assuming this is occupational hazard of Landrover ownership......
