I purchased a Discovery a year or so ago, and had no problems with it for a while until I had some new tyres fitted onto it.
I asked the tyre bloke to put one of the off coming tyres onto to the spare as the tread on the spare looked a bit sparse.
This is where the problem started, the tyre bloke said, Sir, i can't do what you ask for 2 reasons....1, the wheel you have as a spare is a 16inch and the wheels on your car are 18 inch.....and 2, the locking wheel nut that you have securing your spare is also different to what you have on your car.
Crap!! I never noticed as I had had a wheel cover on it until the day after boxing day when someone decided to borrow it without asking for it..!
That's when I noticed the tread being sparse! Did not even look at the wheel....
So now I need to find 1 alloy wheel that matches the other 4. Do you know how hard it is to find a second hand wheel??? Let me tell you, damn hard is the answer!!!!
So, anyone know where I can find a cheap one of these....
