So birthday earlier this week and was a good excuse to take the day of work to spend some time on the Landy.

Fitted the snorkel to start the day off. Went quite smoothly and very happy with end result

Then changed all the oils in the front and rear axles, transfer box and gear box. Had a full engine service in December so no issues there.

Then fitted the new shoes

Modular 16"s wrapped in BFGoodrich a/t s 235/70/16

Love the new stance the wheels give the td5 compared to the 18" mondials I had originally fitted.

Took it out today for a little spon with my mate in his td5

After 48 miles on the tyres I get home and find a 4" slick on my passenger rear side wall. Gutted and annoyed and not sure how it happened

Never less i am away with the family on weekend and towing the caravan so will have to be changed rather than risk a blow out with the kiddies on board. Expense 48 miles

Hi, I'm looking to fit some modular wheels with similar tyres to this. Was this as big as you could go without modifying the body work. I'm not wanting to cut any bumpers etc. The 235/70/16 look good but I was looking at 265/75/16. Does anyone know if the later will fit without mods???
