Was thinking of letting the stuff settle for a few days to separate the water, then getting some sort of filter element (haven't got the details yet) and doing it that way, after what you've said though might have a trip to the supermarket in the morning, could do with some ale as well, I appear to have drank all that i had :D:D:D

start off with 10 liters in a tank and increase the dose gradually.

Get a spare fuel filter and keep it onboard yer landy too. If your fuel system is particularly dirty it may block up within the first 500-1000 miles.

I'd change the fuel filter after about 300-500 miles to be on the safe side

Thanks for all your help, cheers. :clap2::clap2:
As said before, just bung some pure stuff in. Ah did this a whiles back when diesel went sky high. Ah just bunged in 50/50 and run it fur a bit then changed me filter and everything was hunkydory. Stopped usin' it when the prices of cookin' oil went way above diesel, now back on it again;)
Just to give ye an idea on what to expect when ye change yer filter for the first time...

Hi everyone,

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but would the same rules apply to a 1998 P38 2.5DSE.

ie 50% Diesel and 50% rapeseed oil.

I would love to save a few quid, and do my bit for the enviroment.

Thanks
