got a disco with 2 inch lift, looking for some mud tyres, std size is 235/70 16 was looking at 235/85 16 would they catch on arches when off roading?? cheers dave

dave i run 235/85/16 s you will need to cut the rear arch and if you still have the front bumper on that also or they will catch when articulating,other than that you will have no problem. oh and ignore the posting police some right know it all tits on here!
 
Someone doesn't bother doing a search, or check the stickies, then creates two threads to ask the same question and the person who helped them is called a know all tit.

Maybe I am getting old but seems to me that is a bit wrong

You might need to adjust the steering lock stops as well, or fit wheel spacers.
