Hi guys,

Can anyone help with where I can get 33" tyres fitted to some wheels around the Bedfordshire area?

Mine were low and I really struggled to get 33" tyres for 16" rims. Now I have them, it seems most places can't fit them due to the size.

I figure you guys will know the garages that can!

Thanks for that contribution buddy, not sure I would've figured out a google search all by myself.

If you read my post, I was asking for advise on any tyre fitters known to be able to fit tyres this big. Seeing as this is a land rover forum with a large number of green lane/off road enthusiasts, many of whom have oversized mud tyres fitted, it is entirely likely someone may be able to help I thought.

I know a place in Peterborough but it may be a bit far for you. You do need a specialist (for example Kwik Fit are right out) as most places won't have the equipment to mount and balance large tyres.

Have you tried looking for places that deal with lorry tyres?

If I can find anywhere nearer, I'll travel further out. Lorry tyres garages is a great suggestion, hadn't thought of that but will give it a try.
