Big Bang

As above really when i was driving, comng into a national seed limit, accerlerated and changed into 5th and then there was a big bang from the back, and now i have a constant whirring sound from the back. Its ounded like something fell off too, but went back to lok and couldnt find anything. Any ideas, im also getting a thudding sound when changing gear too. Any ideas?

Centre rear diff mounting, possibly a failed rear diff ("final drive") too.

i had this the wirring noise came from the propshaft scraping the underside because the mountings had gone from the diff.

take yer prop and see if noise go's. . . .
