Sweet. Like the colour .. ;)

Thanks :) once the doors go on and roof its going to be multi coloured got Green front doors a Silver rear door and a Green roof. I had planned to respray everything but i've now decided to fit everything and get the Landy back on the road make sure everything works fine etc then respray Grey it next year when funds and time allows.

Looks like a great build. If I were you I'd get that shiny new wiring loom into convoluted tubing before connecting it up - particularly between where it leaves the chassis and enters the rear tub. You can buy it with a split which makes fitting a doddle.

Thanks :) I'm all over the tubing I've got quite a few diffrent diameters ordered for that very purpose and for the new wiring when i install the electric windows etc:D

Working locally for a change this week so managed to get a few hours in at night. The big thing is HE's ALIVE!!! Got most off the fluids in still got more coolant to put in but I couldn't wait any longer so joined the two pipes from the Engine to heater matrix with some hose and fired him up. Started first turn but ran like a bag of spanners!! Someone (me) fitted the fuel pipes to lift pump wrong  no wonder I couldn't bleed fuel system  anyway once sorted it ran perfectly :D:D:D

Got the doors fitted they are second hand ones I got at the Scottish Land Rover show they will be painted eventually (next year now) good thing is they ain't rusted out and came with electric windows and the actuators for central locking. Lining the doors up was a baw ache drivers side is almost perfect passengers side feck knows it's as good as we can get it hopefully when roof is fitted we can pull in the gap at windscreen.

Thanks. I had thought about getting the SP4x4 sliding window doors but was talked out of it by my faither then these doors turned up at a resonable price with electric windows and central lock actuators fitted so got them instead.

Not updated this for awhile I'm on holiday from work now till 8th January so for past couple weeks ive just been trying to get it finished. The passenger door alignment is absolutely Sh*t it's worse than I thought it would be now the rear sides and roof is on the door almost overlaps the side and I can't get it to move any further forward :(. I have noticed the passenger front wing sits about 5mm further back in relation to the bumper bolt holes than the drivers side. So I'm thinking maybe need to loosen passenger side wing etc take the big Bulkhead bolt back out and cut 5-10mm off the bulkhead tube that sits against the outrigger to allow everything to move forward and fix door gap. That's a job for next year VLAD the Landy is back on road for now and seems to be going good here's a couple pics.

That's a puzzler.o_O Marsland chassis anorl, which seem to have a much better reputation for accuracy. I'm presuming you have not put any washers between the bulkhead bolt holes and the outriggers? Have you checked any chassis dimensions yet? Same tub and doors?

Congratulations. The chassis looks great and the workshop looks almost perfect.

Are you going to paint the new chassis black before you start the rebuild? When the local thieves see your nice new chassis it's going to attract them like bees to honey . A coating of something black might just make your pride and joy slightly less desirable o_O. Good luck with the project and keep us up to speed with pics. :p
Clearly the chassis survived the attentions of any passing thieves.

I checked the dimensions not long after getting the chassis and was spot on. I think it's the ****ty ashtree galvanised Bulkhead I had problems before lining up passenger door when I fitted Bulkhead last year. There's two washers in the drivers side passenger side needs go 5-10 mm forward I'm thinking of cutting/grinding down the tube the big bulkhead mounting bolt goes through a bit at a time till I can get the door gap sorted. I had thought of moving the tub but think that will throw drivers side out. Anyways that's for next year I'm just going to use it as is for now.... My oldest will kill me if we miss anymore Off road runs we've missed at least 6 so have to keep her happy lol I've got MOT booked for 9:30am Tuesday so fingers crossed

I've decided to replace the chassis on my 200Tdi Defender 90.(fed up with spatter raining down on me when welding) I phoned Marsland last Monday and placed an order told it be 3-4weeks got phone call from them Wednesday saying actually we can deliver next Wednesday (today) and look what's turned up View attachment 123470View attachment 123471 ooooo very shiny!! Overall I'm extremely happy with Marsland the quality of the galv etc looks great. Only fly in the ointment is I had planned to use the 3-4weeks to empty my grandfathers old workshop that was full rubbish and hadn't been really used since he retired 10 years ago but after 6 van loads to the tip and nearly chocking on all the sawdust/dust and cobwebs it's almost ready to start working in just need move my tools inView attachment 123472View attachment 123473 View attachment 123474View attachment 123475
thats a waste of money.
