Bewildering Choice - Experienced View needed...

As you will see - my landy is running Disco rims 205 tyres (Kumho M+S)

I have aquired a set of OEM Freestyle 7" Alloys and I am tempted with fitting Insa Turbo Traction 235/70/16 - Use is 50/50 in favour of road use.

Make sense?

Is there a question in there?

When you get rid of the Disco wheels/thin tyres, post with a price for them, I'm interested, but they must be cheap, or donated freely ..

What would experienced Landy owners recommend if not the size/combo stated?

Tyre size, tread pattern etc depends a lot on what you're actually doing with it. 50/50 in favour of road use would suggest you want an AT tyre, and probably not stupidly wide or small, so any available size above, say 205 but below, say 255 ought to work out reasonably. The tyre you've chosen and size seems to me to be about right for your stated use ..

I personally prefer BFG AT's .. but that's me .. I prefer to spend money on what is effectively a couple of square feet of rubber holding me to the road but I tow a caravan with the whole family regularly ..
