better alternative trim clips?

Does anybody know if there is a better alternative for the trim clips that hold on the plastic wheel arch extensions on an old LR90?

The original clips have a thin round section of plastic which pushes in to pull it tight but when removing these half of the centres went missing on the floor, there must be a better alternative to these

Any ideas?

It's better that they're crap. You could rivet them on but if you catch one whilst out Laning you risk damaging the arch or the wing instead of some 10p clips.

just use small self tapping screws in the center of the push in round bit, it opens the wings same as the plastic rods.
