With my defender needing a good old tidy up I decided to start the restoration in the new year. Was wondering how best to go about the paint job.

As it's going to be pulled to bits to replace the bulkhead, paint the chassis and patch a few holes I dint know if it would be best to have individual panels sprayed before the re assemble or put it back together and do the whole vehicle in one go.

How were they originally painted in the factory?
