best way forward

how does this look for an 04 Disco?, what do you think?
£10995, 62,000 miles 1 owner fsh, es premium

the price seems abit high . i bought an 03 with 100,000 for 5,500 silver with black 1/2 leather 7 seater . and why is there fresh paint in the last photo of the rear ?? rust ,repair to chassis or what

Last pic has had a blow over to tidy up the underside. Us car dealers love a bit of satin black aerosol, and so do you punters!

yea we sell landys too but that "blow over " looks like your trying to hide something . just think how nice that same disco would look with a full under wash and light respray underneath

£10995 sounds like a hefty price tag. You could get a d3 for that money.

Bought an 04 Disco last month. 50,000 miles for £9,000, from a dealer (indy LR). It is the Pursuit model though, which at that time was the lowest spec. I suppose for the higher specs you would pay a bit more, but £11,000 seems a little toppy.

5000 sounds nearer the mark if no work required.checkair suspension if fitted,

if you can get me one at that price i will have ten!!!!

there is nothing anywhere near that price on ebay, auto trader etc
with low miles or 04 plate,
they all seem to be around £9 - £10 1/2 k

Forget the 5000 quote mate, you ain't gonna get one anywhere near that price!

exhaust looks like its about to rust out ..... and theres more surface rust on that chassis than there is on my 200tdi

D2 chassis always rust badly. Surface rust usually, some rot the seams out.

Very expensive, there are loads for sale, take your time mate.

just sent an email to the garage about the car, he rang me, told me my opinion was wrong,
it is a Landrover and is always gonna have problems!! couldn't really believe he said that!
he would drop his price by a massive grand??? so my alarm bells rang and i asked why?
he told me start of new month and he wants to move old stock
then he told me he prefers the jap stuff, they sell better,
what a wan##r!!!

I reckon you should be looking at spending £8-9000 from a dealer £7-8000 private. I just bough an 04 landmark (high spec) 2 owners full dealer SH 90,000 miles for £7200 private.

I just bought a '99 td5 S manual for £2100, tested, and taxed 'till May '12. think you should shop around,

i have got a 2000 gs 5 mate
i want something a bit newer, but not a new tdv6 as this is our second car now
not the case of any old disco, want a good example!
