does anyone have a recommendation for spots that are happy to be hung upside down on a bar ?

the ones i have are designed to be the other way up and the beam doesn't really work to its best hanging upside down i reversed the reflectors but then they can't be secured properly and now water gets in them !

time to replace !

Can you tell me why you think you need a bar of silly spot lights, can anyone tell me why they need a bar of silly spot lights, what do you gain from a bar of silly spot lights

Night laning .. the outer lights point more towards each side than forwards and the middle two shining down and just off-centre to create a large 'flood' of light. Very hard work Green laning in tight sections if you can't see to the right or left and where you're turning ..

You know people have lights for show when they just point forwards or don't work .. See ho wmine are angled down and to the sides ..

I've got some wipac ones to put on my A bar. The photos on the box show them mounted 'upside down' on a defender's A bar so I expect they'd be Ok.

Thinking of fitting them just to be cool and to impress other road users. Not sure yet whether I'll get round to wiring them up.... Bit like the kenlowe and alpine stereo.. Wiring is just boring and necessitates more clutter like switches etc.

I'm still going to make all my lights (and probably a load of other stuff) app controlled, but don't have any lights yet. Got all the tech ready now.

Think I had them up at £150 as thats a bit less than what they owe me, they're the 150w version so like driving in the sun. As new, used them a couple of times when they were on my disco for a month then they came off for the HID's

However they may be going on my new toy.......not sure yet

In that case then, I think that I am going to have to consider trimming the wicks on mine to see if I can get them any brighter ... that goes for my headlights as well :D:D:D
