I'm am currently deciding which option to go for with changing the colour of the roof on my 90, I had a price of £150 to be painted and a price of £120 to be wrapped??? The reasons for the wanted change are the leaks which are obv the sunroof seal/alpine seals but also suspect the middle spot welded joint on the roof ( both should help seal the joint). The 90 in painted in rutland red and i much prefer the roof to match the black chequer parts etc with a black roof instead of white!! What you guys reckon?? :D

Sunroofs are notorious for leaking, as for the rib, remove it and refit it with a bead of tiger seal. You can get a couple of rattle cans and some sand paper for £20- have a go at spraying your own roof :)

Wraps look good for a while, but on a land rover you are likely to rub it down a tree and scrape it which can't be touched up.

sunroof, took mine off, cleaned the seal with washing up liquid/warm water(there was loadsa grit stick to it) dried, and liberal amounts of Vasaline (other brands of petroleum jelly are avaliable) hasnt leaked since.
now the rear side panel to tub panel is another story...

Agree with this but dont use vasaline, its oil based and will eat the seals after a few years, instead us KY jelly, yeah you will get some looks asking for the extra large tub of it but it will be better for your seals...

Or get a non sunroof roof...
