When I went to fetch my daughter from the airport Monday morning on the way back the car sounded like the front tyre had a stone in in .At 70mph it felt like it was thudding(vibrations?) the thudding is not there at any other speed ,I know it is not the tyres as these were checked not long before I set off . I also have a clonk and an engine vibration (that is starting to get worse) as I accelerate ,I have checked the drive shafts they are ok which leads me to think it is the tie bar .I have read posts on here about not getting parts from certain places so were would be a good place to get one of these from ? I have looked on ebay but tbh am not sure if any of them are any good

Any one ? I have searched on here and it seems it is best not to use the Polly bushes on a td4 because of the vibrations but I did find these

Is there a difference between the manual and the auto version ? I did see some on ebay that were a lot cheaper I think these might be knock offs .I also rang bell engineering and even though they do not sell them they thought that the link could be my problem

Thank you Nodge as always one other question why does one have an extra bit of metal and the other one doesn't ?
And I think I have found the right one

Just had the chance to have a look at mine and my car has the one in the top picture so i wonder if that type were ever fitted to the td4 or if it had been replaced in the past with the wrong one ?If its the latter could fitting the one for the 1.8 cause any damage if fitted to a td4?
