Best place to get a new winch cable

I need to get a new winch cable as it kinked badly today. It's steel at the moment so I was wondering whether to keep it the same or put a synthetic rope one on. Also where would I buy one at a reasonable price. All advice welcome.

Cheers for information. What about going from steel to synthetic cable. Winch is a ewx 12000s type.

Pros and cons to both.

Steel cheaper, more robust.
Synth prone to overheating, less abrasion resistant, easier to handle.
