Right I've got all the symptoms of a underfueling maf sensor......I know it's not egr (bypass fitted), not hoses (new Silicone hoses fitted). Checked the maf sensor this morning, and has been replaced recently (told by last owner). But no markings on it, so think it's a cheap job off Ebay.
Where can I get genuine Bosch f00c2g2029, that's not a copy. Or shall I just buy a full replacement with the housing. Not interested in a tuning box. Thanks.

Going to get a Bosch unit Inc housing, after reading all the different subjects on all the different forums. And the fact Bosch don't sell the insert separately. Means mine is definitely a fake sensor. Like I always say 'buy cheap buy twice' . 30% discount code on Eurocarparts too. So that helps lol :)

You can use BMW as the insert is exactly what is in the FL and the R40 M7 diesel engine, all the R40 members use them, a member did find a link with the whoe housing at £95 but seems to have lost that.

Will try and find it out

Bosch don't sell the insert separately, there's a link on a forum with a letter from Bosch explaining why (something to do with calibration) . So would rather buy the full housing. There's a lot of copies about, like the one fitted to mine.

Thanks mate. :)
