No, good thing its not on air too id of thought.

I trawled through the thread it was posted on but could not work out what the extra light thing is. No idea. Sure someone will know.

Could it be a rotational spot light thats operated from inside? Or a Vent for the cabin, or a soup flask?

No its a location beacon so it can be easily found in the vast open spaces of US of A when the block cracks and boils the engine dry leaving him in the middle of no wear!
