Best glue for roof lining carpet?

90 glued insulation and carpet to the lining and its coming adrift, add in the leaking sunroof and its new roof time with no sunroof.
Im going to line the new to me roof with trim carpet and want some high temperature glue that actually sticks and stands the test of time.
Any ideas appreciated.

Obviously normally I would search but!

I used impact adhesive when I redid mine and had no problems.

Or Google hi temperature spray adhesive .

Did mine many years ago with Copydex, although I don't know if it's still available.

Used it in school in the 70's, had a brush in the cap and smelled like cats ****

although Wiki describes it as a 'fishy' smell - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copydex

Must be thinking of Gloogle? OK I'll get me coat.

Just done mine, got it from local car paint supplies place they didn’t have high temp but it was spray headlining adhesive so hopefully good enough

Yup! That's the stuff, and being a rubber-based solution it sticks like s**t to a blanket!!

Hows about glue for open cell foam ? Mine fell off the roof inside after the summer

You really should only use closed cell foam in any part of the inside as open cell will collect condensation.

You can buy rolls of self adhesive closed cell foam - makes the job a piece of wee boys pee.
