Now then

Which would be better for long trips
A disco 2 TD5
or a Defender 110 (most probably the double cab)

I like some disco 2's
BUT
a Defender is a Defender!!!

cheers

Long trip up the M1, the Disco, long trip across the Sahara, the Defender.
i.e. theres horses for courses ;)

I had an ES Disco Td5, lovely car, had all the bits on it. Was very confortable, however always worried it would break down, now have a defender TD5, love it. As long as u leave enough time, its not stressful, a little noisy it you are going fast (70+) but i have a/c in mine, so its fine on hot summer days. They do get hot inside so a motorway cruise on a hot day without a/c would not be very nice unless u want to sit in your pants with all the windows down!!!!

I love my Defender though!!!

That's why defenders have front vents.;)

i'll be using it around europe, i'd like to say for

a man of wisdom speaks
roflmao, i did wonder when the vents'd come into play
my uncles defender was a lengend, whistles its bag off after he had the wastegate welded open, with a big stack up the side of the truck cab.... used to love the vents been open, driving it in and out of dips in a big hilly field heading down to the trout pond sitting on my grandads knee happy days, (was only 7 or 8, it was mint)
