Hello All, being all new to this Landy game i was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the place where you all get your parts from. I have bought some bits from Paddocks, but they dont sell everything. I'm on the look out for new rear fixed window rubbers/seals, amongst other bits an pieces.. Any help would be great, cheers..

Hello Ratty, Im in Bromley by Croydon Mate.

I'm the opposite end of the country to you. Hopefully someone from your neck of the woods can point you to somewhere local.

I use the likes of paddocks, craddocks etc but I have a local landrover parts supplier about half an hours drive away that I use if I need the part quickly. They are usually only a couple of pounds dearer than getting the bits online.

I normally shop between Paddocks and Lrseries as I dont have a cheap parts dealer near me. However, for some bits a LR main dealer could be a good deal.... I needed a new fuel tank for my 110 and they supplied an after market tank at a good price.
Postage is one to watch... over £50 and paddocks is free unless you want it the next day. LRseries offer a personal quote if you just want a a few washers or the like... normally 99p. Its always worth finding your part number (you can do this on here) and google it. Sometimes a wish list re eg chequer plating or the likes can be taken to a show.... I find that shows are great for hands on looking at the quality and you can barter for a deal. But for run of the mill.... internet.
Paddocks dont list everything they have in stock.... well worth emailing them as I have found they DO stock most things... same with Lrseries.
If you are looking at rear windows.... heated or plain, plenty about. As for side windows I would go to a show and see the quality... buy cheap, buy twice. Try searching on here for side or rear window advice.
You dont say what LR you have? You will find for eg... on the 90/110 a parts list for the most insignificant washer you want.

Fairly new to the Landy game meself but so far check prices on Ebay Paddocks craddocks rimmer bros and as the above says dont be scared to get a price from main dealer as I needed 2 inner hub seals and was expecting pain £8.50 for the pair inc VAT
