Good evening all.

Thor V8 MY2000.
Would any of you gentlemen have the part number for the belt pulley that sits under the tensioner , been doing some work on it, replacing a few gaskets and waterpump and noticed the pulley bearings grumbling when I spin it.
Thanks in advance ,
Paul.

I take it you opted for the after market version then? :D

Ummm, yes.
The Rangie is not my everyday driver now so I thought parts like that opting for aftermarket products will be ok.
Will only do a couple of thousand miles a year now in the Rangie as I have purchased a Saab 9-5 for work and running about, will only use the Rangie at weekends and for towing the tin tent.

Hi Keith,
The bearings on my pulley look like they are sealed, could be wrong though, I haven't the know how to change them or the tools, wish I did, could probably save a fortune over the years.

Good combination that. Not that I'm bias or anything ;)

My mates Saab 9-5 was more unreliable than either than the P38 that ultimately replaced it or the L322 he has now:rolleyes:

I purchased a 2005 model 2.0 turbo, cheap as chips and have to say it has been a good motor. Gave it a full service when I first got it changed all fluids including auto box which is just undo sump nut drain and refill, no filters involved.
It is superb on fuel and is fairly nippy too. Of course I prefer to drive the Rangie as does the wife but I promised the chauffeur some time off:)

Non Aero tend to have problems when not looked after. Aero's are incredible machine's that scare a lot of modern 'fast' cars. Wouldn't change it for the world!
