EGR removal kit ordered, MAP and MAF to be cleaned. But question is can i fit a booster chip without any other mods?? TD5 Alive say it shouldn't be fitted witout a remap, but no mention of this on the Bell Auto site?? Will it be fine to run on the standard intercooler? I know the box basically fools the ECU into thinking the boost is lower than it is so it doesn't think its over boosting and the wastegate actuator will have to be screwed out a bit, is this all safe to do at home?? i'll get a cheap boost gauge to check the increase isn't too much.
