BEIGHTON, SHEFFIELD, CHESTERFIELD and surrounding areas.

A mate of mine has had his 90 stolen from Beighton.
It's a 300TDI Defender 90 truck cab in Green.

The plate is P725 FJC

-BFG TRACK-EDGE tyres on freestyle 300tdi alloys
-Brand new Mantec Snorkel
-Warn 8274 winch on a custom made tubular winch bumper
-The upper-most roof lining panel on the inside is missing its covering and it is black
-Orange "Britax" beacon mounted on the rear tailgate with 2 x rear work lights drilled into the cappings facing backwards
-Also note the exhaust tail pipe ends inside the rear wheel arch
-There are heavy dents to the "barrels" of the doors

There was also his shotgun certificate and a snap-on torch and a snap-on impact gun inside.
See pictures below. The pictures are of varying ages, e.g. the snorkel is missing on one.

Cheers mate. Just been told I made a typo on the reg. I've changed it now, it was just one letter wrong.

looks like there at it again,heard of one stolen from eckington nr chesterfield other night to,im off work now so i'll keep an eye out round chesterfield for you

not sure mate it just got brought up in conversation with a mate,apperently a few were targeted other week in that area to,they stole doors etc off them
other week i had a grey 90 county with windows in back,light bar and nice wheels(wifes description)driving past very slowly and having a good look at mine,never thought anything of it untill neighbours son a couple of days later said he saw 2 lads in a 90 drive past having a good look at my 90 and house,asked him to describe it and sounds the same motor,ive asked about and no one knows of a 90 matching that description round this area,got all my mates keeping a look out for it to try and get reg

Hmm I saw one like that a few weeks ago. I remember cos I waved and got a dirty look back. I know that doesn't prove anything but I thought it was a bit odd... or maybe he's just a nob.

sumone had the bumper and spots off of one of the lady's cars from the stables near wortley too!!! i think they are 'in the area' so to speak!!! lock everything down!!!

I'm afraid that's what it's become... bits. They're at the stage now where nicking em to use or sell isn't possible without being caught. Unfortunately that means that they get chopped up.

Will take a look around at the usual suspects place down here.

Useful info on the the suspects 90.

Thats a very distinctive winch on your mates truck cab, can't be many about.

I'm sticking to Discoverys after they tried to nick my lady's 110 off the drive by winching it onto a recovery vehicle. Funny how a loaded semi auto shotgun makes people drive away quickly. False plates on the recovery truck too, well prepared.

Still, she sold the 110 because she was afraid of them coming back, which is sad when it's your pride and joy!

I've found CCTV puts the wind up them, especially if it's got the infra red lighting as well.

Cheers. Just remember I didn't see that car do anything illegal and I saw it weeks before the landy was stolen. He didn't see it get taken but I'm told that he thinks it has been driven away. Don't hold out for that suspicious car, chances are it's genuine.

im not saying he is the suspect im just saying he was seen twice driving past my house slowly having a good look at my 90,and no one knows of a landy matching that description in this area,he may be genuine then again might not i just take not of anything like that since my last 90 got stolen,you never know

Might be worth a 'quick' drive into the gypo site in beighton to see if its parked up there?
