I had occasion to remove my headlamps and grille to have the plastics hydro dipped and boy do they look nice :)

Anyhoo, I am pretty sure my car originally had a heated screen as I see to recall wiring hanging doing nothing under the screen panels, but that was last year... I'll look again when it gets warmer.

But when I was in about the headlamps, I went to pick up what I thought was the indicator plug, but it was bigger and more wires, so I am led to believe they are for headlamp washers & wipers. However, when I looked at the washer bottle, there was only two pumps, but space for three.

My question, as usual, if I decided to do the headlamp washer/wipers, what would be involved? Plug in and programme the BECM or plug and play? I'm not currently planning it, just wondering is all.

Also, my new HEVAC controller is now fitted and working beautifully. BIG thank you to Marty UK

It is just amazing for me to be able to, for the 1st time since getting the car, press any button or turn the motor speed rotator and it actually works!;):)

Need to get her to Hamish and get the rear right airbag adjusted. It needs about 20mm - ish so I could also ask him to sort out the hazard flash when I lock/unlock because it doesn't and that bugs me o_O

That's it really, not extremely important, just makin a post and seeing what comes up.

From what I can work out you would need to have the highline becm and programme it so it knows the are fitted, its the same with fog lights, wiring is there as standard but if lowline becm forget it ask Grrrrrrr about that, but I might be totally wrong and will bow to superior knowledge.

It's almost as if someone decided to have this car built in bits and bobs :eek:

It has wiring hanging everywhere. But then they ran out of money :D

Has foglights, the seats move electrically one way (up/down) but no heat on them... It had a radio/cassette with 6 CD changer under the passenger seat (got wheee'd soon as I got the car in favour of a decent system, CD, DAB, Aux in, USB, etc) and then the worst thing of all, someone put in LPG and it eventually killed the 1st engine. But that was good for me as a brand spanking new one was installed aprox 25k miles ago

As you have fogs and lecey seats there is a good chance you have a highline, look for an H on the label on the becm
I think p38 are all mix bits wise my dse has manual leather seats full ac and top line HK stereo
you don't know how to sort Renault master immobiliser's by any change, that my head ach atm:eek:

What's the LED doing? Steady flash, rapid flash or on all the time?

Reason I ask, is if it flashes rapido then it's highly likely the transponder chip in the key is broken. It seems the Master is prone to this, most likely because it's a working vehicle and gets harder use than the car...

Been out put recharged battery on changed crank sensor still no joy immobiliser light is going out ok, i think i was over thinking that, it just spins over fine but wont start was fine Wednesday went out yesterday turned key no go, green flag came out no good no one in area with diag.

If immobiliser lamp is going out, then you can usually rule that out. Next port of call would be the fuel shut off solenoid. If you hit a pot hole or a kerb hard enough it can set them off. It's normally about 35mm square with a red rubber top (so you can reset it) and may be in the area of the LH headlamp down close to the chassis leg although not all have them as they may have a mechanical low pressure pump that feeds the high pressure pump. They also fail due to age & heat.
