...so quite why I'm indoors joining this forum is purely because it seems a very good place with friendly people, many of whom seem to know what they're talking about.
I've been around much longer than transistors but not as long as Land Rovers (just, but had a few in my time) I'm a confirmed petrol head and done a number of things with vehicles, Motorcycle Trials, tried a bit of Scrambling, enjoyed Rallying for many years, I'm still car racing, had various LRs since the late 70s, but I never really understood the whole full mud-plugging bit, although I appreciate we all have different likes etc. I love my TD5 Disco II, even though he does have the occasional little hiccough which can be trying on occasion.
Hopefully as time goes on I'll work my way through the forums and find a few answers to my various problems, but in the meantime, I just thought I'd introduce myself, and say it's nice to be part of what seems like a sensible place.
