Hi guys need help please,
were is the best place to buy vcu support bearings, the good one's

cheers :)

Seems like that point in time when demand is starting to climb to change VCU and/or bearings so prices shoot up and as soon as demand drops and there stock is high the prices will drop obviously watching the forums

:boom:

I saw them on eBay, but still rang Foundry to check the price because the last I'd heard they were £65. The guy I spoke to said he was afraid they had gone up!

Still, what I believe to be the original ones have lasted 9 years…

New ones from Foundry on the way, to be fitted be fitted along with a VCU by Bell in a couple weeks;)

I got a recon VCU with new bearings from Bell for 255 pounds including postage to France less than a month ago. Maybe demand is rising and prices are going up? I fitted it all at the weekend (together with a new front diff mount) and it has made a huge difference. Car is like new.

I've got OEM bearings and brackets and want to remove them from the VCU as they're still in full working order at 3 years old. Anyone tried do this? Had a go today and I think the only option would be to cut through the VCU shaft in small amounts so as not to heat up the bearing, then knock the middle through.

They called them replacement parts, which means they're replacements for OEM, but not OEM. I think.

Fag are normally red. When they put a G on the end they normally mean GKN, but should also reference it by the side to confirm. eg GKN logo.

Many of the old links to genuine prop bearings GKN made & FAG bearing are now out of date. Where is the best place to buy genuine ones without a mortgage increase?!?! Thanks
