Disco 2 BCU problems but maybe not?

Right, the Disco is slowly getting closer to becoming a bonfire.

Had no interior lights for a while, which is no real drama and no bother as far as I'm concerned.

A few weeks ago the main beam telltale light stopped working, sometimes showing up dull, but mostly nothing.

This week, the listed below have gone wrong;

Indicators/hazards (though the dash light flashes)
Momentary wipers (constant is fine)
Rear wiper
Central locking

So, obviously thinking Interior fusebox or BCU got wet, but looking at the boards there's no evidence of moisture at all, nonetheless cleaned everything with contact cleaner.



Fuses are all visually intact and pass a continuity check.

So, what's my best course of action?

Unfortunately if nothing visible the only way to rule one of these out is to change it with known good one cos both are involved in those functions

Check earths first, maybe even run a few about to improve earths at components.
Nanocom?

I'll probably do some earth ****ery tomorrow, Along with a lot of stabbing cables to trace where electrickery is getting to.

Had the engine bay fusebox out today, all clean as anything else.

So is either connectors on cables (unlikely because the modules are so clean), grounds or cables (or fusebox/BCU)

I completely failed to update this, so I will on the grounds of not disappointing future googlers.

I initially fixed this issue by using the disco to shove bales into the back of a barn, and broke it again the other day by changing my battery ground terminal.

I went through all the grounds, (specifically by the battery, C0017/C0018 and C0551) (see handy pic attached) all good and clean, so not that.

Changed the interior fusebox while avoiding housework this evening, fixed everything (even a niggle where the trailer indicator would flash when indicating not towing).
