Did you ever get the service done on it? Only ask because you never returned after asking about it :)

Tip top battery is important for your model. Could be few other things

You can check your battery with a ‘drop test’. Easy to do yourself with help in searchbar, or at a local Halfrauds - that sorta place ;)
Had test done today battery fine but low on charge (lack of use) need to put it on charge many thanks

No never bothered just had oil and filter changed could not see the point in having a full service having covered less then 2000mls in two years and buying it from a main dealer with twelve months warranty on it, When I put the question to them they told me that all sales cars that fall into the price bracket that mine did had a full and comprehensive service and multi point check before collection.

Interesting ref oils changes , I only done a few hundred miles since last year in my D3 and changed all the oils and filters, always do it regardless of mileage

Maybe that’s just me but is peace of mind , can also keep an eye on the oil when it’s drained to see if any bits etc come out

Oh well each to their own. and each to thier own "gosh why did that fail' tale . I believe I said before I'm of the school of , it doesnt matter how many miles done per year, if a service is due at x interval, then it's due at x interval.
However, it's always good to see someone who believes the sales patter ;)

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did they charge you?

RRs have so many computers they drain a lot especially when stationary as there’s a small draw but no supply.
Trickle charger to plug in now and again is what you need really. They are cheap enough but the batteries aren’t :)

Glad you are sorted.
