Battery won't Start after 2 days standing

Wondering if i need a new battery, its now the second time this has happened to me now after doing a couple of short start / stops and the car stood over a weekend. I get in on Monday morning to start, turns over a little slow with not enough power to continue..

Can anyone recommend what Battery to go for if i do need a new one ?

Had the same 12 months ago with my Disco 2,,,,,,,, There is only one battery that I would buy ( Excluding Gel Batteries, They are best but expensive )For normal lead acid buy a Bosch..On my different vehicles i've learnt the hard way.There are some really naff batteries out there.I went to a place called GSF and asked what's the best battery to fit .They did me a deal on a Boch £80.

I'd just go for a standard one, it will be cheaper than upgrading.

I had a similar issue with my car earlier this year and just replaced the old with a new standard and it starts now in all weathers with no issues.

Varta G8 is better than the standard and a quality battery with 4 year gtee, just bought one - much better..........£78 delivered, 95 AH 830 CCA

Try a delphi 105 amp hour

There was one in my TD5 when i bought it, its still there, and the previous owner has marked it 'Fitted by Kieth Gott, May 2005'

just looked on this site.disco 2 battery with a 4 year warranty is only 75 quid inc delivery.great price.

Yes problem sorted now, radiator next as its just sprung a leak !

Buy off Ebay and get a Varta Silver H3 100a/hr 830cca - will cost you approx £85 delivered. Excellent quality battery guaranteed for 5 yrs.

Just put one on my Jaaaaag!

Checked the voltage across the battery whilst the engine is running and i get 14.4Volts, is this normal ????

That shows that the charging circuit is working correctly but it doesn't show the condition of your battery.
