Battery not charging, AGAIN!

Hi All,

3 months since the battery on my 200tdi defender died!

Checked the charge at the battery and there was no charge,
Bought and fitted a new alternator and alls been ok since.

Tonight, same problem, dead as a dodo and no charge at the battery

How can I check if the alternator is putting out a charge? Can I put a tester on the terminals at the back of it?

Any other suggestions what to check, seems a bit much to be the alternator again?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Start the car and put a mulitmeter on the battery to check for around 13.8-14V

you might have a sticking relay or something that is intermittently draining your battery.
