here when ive made one im gona use 10 leds so i can monitor the battery at different charge states
whats wrong with wanting to make my own its cost me 4 quid for the bits from maplin. and it will look factory fitted and also when i look at it i can think i made that i can see what my batterys are doing when winching ect ect
You're not getting me, I think. I do enjoy making stuff (I've bought a Landy!) and understand the satis in getting stuff to work (recently solved an overheating problem by cleaning out all the cooling pipes and replacing the head gasket), I just don't understand making a complicated LED thingy when you can buy a voltage meter of the shelf.
Like I say, each to their own!
As long as you're having fun, enjoying what you do and doing it with pride and passion KEEP ON KEEPING ON!
ahh ok well i think its better to make one whatever least when one component breaks you know how to fix it cus you built it.
Then it has no place on a Landie! And it's unlikly to leak oil!
