Yet again my ABS is making the plink plink (space invaders) noise when I switch off and lock up. Its pulling 0.3Amps and doesn't go to sleep. If I pull the ABS fuse and replace it stops until I open a door and that sets it off again. I was under the impression that this should go to sleep when the rest of the car does after a few seconds. I know I could botch up the fuse with a relay fed from a wire that is only live when ignition on but was hoping that someone here knows of an easier fix.
Many thanks for your thoughts.

IMO, the problem is from the SLS part of the SLABS ECU as it stays under power up to 1.5 hours after ignition was off and gets to life if you open a door... maybe is related with that alarm issue as a door switch makes tricks then the drain is greater

if it shuts down after 1.5 hours im not that bothered. but 0.3Amps for a few days will kill my battery. Any idea why the SLABS needs to be powered with the ignition off?

I can't say why, for that you must ask somebody who engineered it so... what's certain is that that's the way it is;)... anyway it's not supposed to be more than 0.1/max 0.15A so you have other issue too... measure the drain with fusible link FL1 removed
