Battery Cut Off Switch

Anybody out there wired a battery cut off switch? I have a spare one in the garage and thought it might be a good idea to fit as the Defender sits idle somtimes :( . Any ideas or wiring diagrams would help.:)

just wire it inline with your battery feed cables, if you like you can bypass the switch with a 5 amp fuse to keep radio memory and clock alive while disconnecting the main battery cable, this will also work as an immobiliser, as soon as the vehcle is cranked the 5 amp fuse will blow
