Morning all!

I've been having some problems with the battery discharging on my 90 so decided to have a battery kill switch installed. It's been working a treat for the last year, but has the occasional glitch.

As long as I remember to disarm the battery disconnect alarm (take out ignition key, replace, turn to position 2, take out and disconnect battery within 15 seconds) it works fine. Until this week!

For some reason or another when I go through the disarming sequence it doesn't always work and the alarm goes off when I disconnect the battery. One moment it works, then it doesn't, then it works again and I am certain I am not doing anything different. I would be grateful for anyone's thoughts on this.

Thanks

Simon

This is the key to the problem you have a short some where. Solve that and everything else should be ok

Have you been wading ?
Mine didn't work after we did a pay & play, when I took it apart it wasn't connecting.

Just out of interest, how did you switch the battery? I'm looking to do it but don't kno wether to switch the live or neutral and if I need to use a relay?
Cheers

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll have a look at all the connections and see what happens. One thing I have noticed though is the front spots look like they have been connected with a bit of gaffer tape. If the wiring is duff here could this be the cause of the battery drain (even if the lights are off)?
