I recently replaced my ailing battery and, for the first time, i had to take out the dead battery. Cleaning the battery compartment, i discovered a small (about 2" x 2") plastic box containing one almost intact fuse and a second decomposed pile of blue powder, which i suspect used to be a second fuse or just copper wire.
. There are, or were, a blue wire and a brown wire going into the small plastic box. Can anyone tell me what they might be? This is an ex Irish Electricity Supply Board vehicle and it's possible that it could be, or was an additional fuse put in place by the ESB.
Any help would be most welcome
