Is line-x the textured load bed liner paint? If so I hate it!

I think it is the panoramic side window argument all over again!

Cheers :D yeah easy enough to make and is a great place to put speakers of any size and shape while keeping them out the way

Yep! Haha its the only paint I know of that wont be damaged by off road abuse. The paints peeling off my rock sliders, it will eventually peel off my bumper, cage is scratched to buggery as is the roof and bonnet. Just a paint and forget deal and is just perfect for LRs.

I could get it all powder coated again but it will cost the same and it will just be ruined again a few months later.

I guess that's true. As long as you go for black not grey and keep it away from the body I'll let you off :D

:D thanks! Haha

Yeah is just the "bolt on" parts that are subject to the abuse, roof for 100% waterproofing and the bonnet because i find myself walking on it alot lol! Of course black! The other colours still scratch as they are just sprayed on top.

Ok, those are valid reasons :D It would go with your colour more than most others I have seen

I also walk on my bonnet a lot, I'm thinking of CPing it, but am not a massive fan of it.

Good news! Spoke to a friend who has similar seats in the rear hes fitted the Exmoor Trim seatbelt bracket and the trim does fit on top with some minor cutting. Also means I can use the existing seatbelt fasteners on the seat, nothing has to be bolted into the tub or wheel arches. Keeping everything much neater and better.

Also if anyones interested got some pics from Timehop, had my Landy 3 years now here it is when I bought it -

Heres a few from my off road trip to Marquenterre, France. Really nice weekend, so close and so much fun! Sand is definitely a unique substance to drive on, remap, higher boost and the intercooler defiantly helped out here!

Only hill I couldn't climb, bottomed out on my central crossmember and rather cross axled

Annoying since another guy with a pretty similar spec Td5 90 flew up! Only difference was he had a 2" lift.

It appears there will be more frequent updates than I thought! Decided to sell my old photography equipment and use the cash to re vamp my auxiliary lighting!

Plan is to move my current roof lights to the rear which means I would have x3 54watt CREE LEDs on the rear, luckily I will be able to use to existing loom I fitted with just a fuse change coming in at 13.5amps switch can take 20amps so within operating parameters.

The fit a 50" CREE LED light bar to the roll cage producing 288watts  with mixed flood/spot pattern. For this I can use the existing wiring loom I have in place for the HIDs on the bumper with a fuse change and some adjustments to the wiring. Just got to swap round the switches on the dash

Finally replace the HIDs with a 12" or 17" (which ever will fit) 72watt/108watt CREE LED with mixed flood/spot pattern for this I can use the wiring I have in place for the roof lights with a possible fuse change and definite switch change.

Reason for removing the HIDs is I would like to fit a winch at one point, currently it looks like I will *just* be able to fit a Winchmax winch with the larger intercooler, however it means my HIDs will not fit... Hence replacing the the LED bar.

Is it needed? probably not. Is it wanted YES :D

Cost? Shy of £200 so cheap with minimal work but large benefits.

If anyones interest this is the seller - http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sunyee-intl/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

Ordered a few lights of them and its been nothing but amazing. One of my LED bars on the front stopped working, emailed them a pic of it not working within 24hours they shipped a brand new one free of charge. Turned out to be a loose cable which I fixed and fitted to the rear.

Finally got around to fitting the tool kit somewhere useful and out the way -

Moved the hi-lift up a few inches and the toolkit fits below! 8mm shockcord holds it in place.

One thing that is absolutely driving me mad is something is dinging on the rollcage above the drivers side. Ive no idea what it is or its exavt location! I've driven around with the rear 100% empty, noise remains. Moved the speaker box to check, nothing there! Im lost!

I once had the use of a company AstraMax van in which someone had hidden a large ball bearing in one of the roof stiffeners - got any playful mates?

:D light bars have arrived!!

50" is amazing, it is large though!

They did accidently send me a 12" with no loom instead of the 20" with one! Which is slightly lucky because I realised the 20" bar wont actually fit where I want it so I asked to change it for a 17" which will!

Emailed the seller and this is excellent news. Since it will cost too much to send the 12" bar back I get to keep it AND they are sending me the 17" bar free of charge!

Also sold my current HIDs and the LED Bar is up for sale so the lighting upgrade cost me £20!
