Hi All

I will have to change the steering ball joints (drag link, track rod) and want to buy a suitable ball joint separator tool for it. Fork or scissors type is better for Discovery? What should be the size (I have found 19, 20, 22mm)?
Thanks

And don't forget that the ball joints are pressed into the rod at one end. So buying the entire assembly will probably save you a lot of grief. And there's not much of a price difference either.

+1, also the very good chance the replaceable end has rusted thread in the rod and the old tre, so will require some fun and games to split and the threads may be rusted so badly that thay are knackered.

Cheers

Totaly agree! I have ordered full assemblies (lemforder) plus steering damper. In case of steering damper britpart is ok, or i have to buy other like bilstein?
update: I have finally ordered the bilstein. only 30 pounds diff.
