Can any one help?

I have a hugh bouncing type vibration on acceleration up to and around 2000rpm. It appears to be from around the nearside front area but as with all Landrovers I cannot be certain.
I have checked and repacked the both bearings on the front axle no different, taken the propshaft off and replaced both joints. At this point there was not play in the transfer box front bearing. If I dip the clutch at speed it stops so its not the CV joint. It definately something retating and out of balance but what ...it sailed through the MOT last week so I can't work out what it is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the same problem i had with my old 300tdi..

it turned out to be the rear diff......

well more to the plot ...just lost the front prop at 50mph after the transfer box gave up the ghost. So it was that after all.

So I think OK still got the rear axle to get me home! not a prayer ...had to be recovered.
