Hello all!

I did sign up briefly a few years ago when i had my last landrover (defender 110 200tdi) which i was forced to give up on and sell not long after.

After realising this was a crucial mistake in my life and with pining for another landrover in my life (tried various jap 4x4's but they simply cant hack it) i needed another landrover.. fast forward to november 2014

I got a phone call at work to say a £200 project discovery had been sourced only 4 miles down the road and would i be interested... of course i was there that evening cash in hand! and strolled away with what i thought was a bargain..

1990 3dr 200TDi discovery, all original not modified or messed with and most importantly, not been heavily off roaded! Also though it hasnt been loved...

The boot floor is solid (thank god!) and the chassis is immaculate. unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rest of the body.

both front inner wings and floorpans are rotted, both sills are weak / rotted and a body mount on the passenger side sill is rotted.

Other bits the truck needs:

Alternator
PAS pump
Brake master cylinder / bleeding
General tidy up and clean / check components.

will also be changing as a matter of course:

Cambelt & waterpump
all filters and fluids

Just planning to do it up as a greenlaner / toy but will be used for towing duties occasionally when needed.

Anyways enough talking... pictures!

Oh and my current fleet of vehicles:

1990 200tdi Discovery
1995 Peugeot 306 S16
1998 Peugeot 306 Rallye

You obviously didn't find the right slitty. Too bad. Welcome.

Now you have something to keep you out of trouble. Hopefully.

Ahah i tried a 3.1 SWB isuzu trooper duty and a mitsubishi stradabut they were useless, round my neck of the woods you need independant suspension or you dont cut the mustard

Now now lets not get pedantic! :p

What i meant is you need coil spring with good articulation rather than cart springs.

Well it is slightly overwhelming, Facing a £500 welding bill to get it solid for MOT but that is including cleaning / undersealing the entire underside of the truck!

Thanks for the welcome chaps :)
