Hello,

this summer I'll be travelling to Namibia, and I think it would be
great to rent a Land Rover Defender including camping gear. We are with
4 persons, and we are quite tall, approximately 2.00m. Therefore, I
would like to know if the back seat of the Land Rover Defender provides
enough space to sit / travel comfortably for us.
Thanx!

Firstly, you're talking about the middle seats, not the back ones I
assume. We don't use the metric system here for height or weight so
let's just say you are all tall bokes. Middle seats are perfectly
comfortable for most people but I think you may find there isn't a huge
deal of leg room. Make sure you clean feet - one tall friend of mine
in particular could only get comfy by stretching his legs out and
resting them on the cubby box in front!

You don't say where you are, but try finding one at a dealership? Or
just accost a 110 station wagon owner on the street and stop and ask
them, most of them are odd themselves so will probably accept your
story and let you have a seat for a minute :)

Thanks for your reply.

I'm from the Netherlands, and I haven't seen the LandRover much around.
By the way, 2.00 m is approximately 6"5.
