Back box question

Hi, I acquired a td4 Freelander 1 from a friend as they were scrapping it. I have a 1.8k that needs a new back box.
Could I swap them over as the td4 one is in great condition.

If I can would it require any mod, anything to know if it will fit ?

The 1.8 and TD4 exhaust systems are different, with different pipe IDs and slightly different shape boxes, so it's not a straight forward swap. The 1.8 boxes can be had for under £30 (aftermarket), so just get the correct one, which you know will fit.
