I know there is a big trauma finding a car seat to find Land Rover's.I am not sure whether this is the case for all Land Rover's but yesterday we finally had success in finding the perfect fit for our Dicovery 300Tdi. We had originally gone to Halford's (don't bother they're hopeless and declared our Disco as 'weird') but they were unable to help. So we called into a small local baby shop called Babies Galore. They were totally different again and couldn't have been more helpful. The best bit? The store owner also had a Discovery. There is only one car seat that will fit our Disco and that is the Britax First Class Si. They have 2 routings as the problem with Disco's is that the webbing is too long on the seatbelts which means the belt buckle rubs against all other car seats which can easily come undone or worse, on impact, shatter, rendering it useless.
Anyway to cut this short, this seat fits perfectly the downside is that it's not removable (i.e. it's not one you can take out and carry the baby around in) but that's a small price to pay to end the nightmare of trying to find one in the first place. The plus to this seat is that it's a group 0+1 which takes the seat from birth through to 4 years old.
