Morning, I applied for the B card (attached) from the RLC archive (at great expense!) and excitedly downloaded it, but haven't got a clue what it means!! Can anyone help me?

A bit of a late reply, but did you try using the Merlin website? It has a lot more info than RCL did. Oh, and it's free...

Vehicle Service History
RIV Date Unit
11-Nov-1984 JSCS ASHCHURCH
16-Oct-1987 SUP SQN RLC VEH GP STOCK
03-Aug-1993 QUEEN'S OWN GURKHA TPT REGT
20-Jun-1994 SUP SVS RLC HONG KONG
07-Oct-1994 SUP SQN RLC VEH GP STOCK
06-Feb-1995 2/52 LOWLAND BN SP GP HQ (RS)COY
08-Aug-1995 LOWLAND
04-Jun-1999 MVSL (DISPOSALS)

Thank you, I had eventually found this info but what a useful website that is. Happy New Year
And a Happy New Year to you.
When tracing the service record of my 101 i went to Merlin first and got pretty much everything that was available. BUT, given that it went to Ashurch storage in 1977 and only started it's service life as an ambulance in 1982, i couldn't believe it just sat there for five years, so i paid the fee to RCL and got the same info with a couple of additional dates Merlin didn't know. I now understand long term storage isn't unusual.
